Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abteilungs 7'

This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abteilungs 7' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within an armoured-trains-related, engineers' unit ie. regiment numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued and used- ie. minimally worn-), condition. The board - which measures approximately 11,7 cms. in length and that has a somewhat 'shiny' silver-coloured 'upperdeck' - shows some minor wear, age and/or minimal staining. The board comes without tongue and was with certainty issued- (and used as) as a board of 'sew-in'-pattern. The board shows the neat (Gothic-styled, regular-sized, bright-golden-toned and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'E'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and equally styled '7'-numeral and single pip period-attached. All three devices are - I deem - executed in 'Buntmetall'-based-metal and show some minimal age ie. tarnish: they have, however, maintained an attractive and truly 'frosted' appearance. The piece came with a smaller-sized tunic-button attached. Simply a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - neatly 'cyphered', 'Eisenbahnpioniere'-related officers'-type shoulderboard: too bad that it is only a single example!
