Attractive, zinc-based WH (Heeres) 'Frontstalag'- (ie. prisoner-related-) ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped camp-designation that reads: 'Frontstalag 183' and that comes still mounted onto its (period-attached) cord as issued- and/or worn
This is an attractive example of a square-sized, greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, WH (Heeres) (ie. 'Frontstalag'- (ie. prisoner-related-) ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its (period-attached- and/or typical linnen-based) cord and that is bearing the clearly stamped camp-designation that simply reads: 'Frontstalag 183' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a prisoner who who was held in the 'Frontstammlager', numbered: '183' (which camp was situated in the town of Hennebont in the 'Departement Morbihan' in occupied France) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall very nice condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH 'Frontstalag'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
