Neat, WH (Heeres): 'DAK' (ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps') aluminium-based so-called: 'pith-helmet' shield, being a non-maker- marked example, retaining all its three (originally mounted and never bent) prongs
This is an attractive - and not that easily found! - WH (Heeres): 'DAK' (ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps') aluminium-based so-called: 'pith-helmet' (national-colours)shield being a non-maker-marked example that still retains its three originally mounted (and never bent!) prongs and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never pith-helmet-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The - very detailed and/or pronounced - piece retains its three - original and fragile - pins in place. The black- and red-painted areas truly retain almost all of their original colour (as can be seen on the pictures). Actually, are these genuine pith-helmet shields - having all their original and/or undamaged prongs in place - not that easily encountered: even more so when they are executed in bright and somewhat shiny aluminium. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an original 'DAK' (ie. 'Afrikakorps') so-called 'pith-helmet'-shield for a competitive price!
