Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early-war-period (ie. 'M36'- ie.: 'M40'-model- ie. rounded-style-) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Unteroffiziersvorschule V'
This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless quite rarely seen! - WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie.: 'M40'-model- ie. rounded-style-) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Unteroffiziersvorschule V' (or: senior-sergeant ie. sergeant first-class and presumably a trainer who was attached to the infantry-related NCO-school, numbered: '5') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard'-pattern- and/or darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' - has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which measures approximately 12 cms. in length - comes mounted onto its period tongue (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the (regular-sized, Gothic-styled and aluminium: 'UV'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'), equally-styled Roman-styled: 'V'-numeral and two (also aluminium-based) pips period-attached (it should be noted that the 'UV'-cypher misses a prong and was period-attached with some thread). The strap shows - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). In any case is this a nice occasion to acquire a very attractive and desirable NCO-type, 'Infanterie'-related 'Unteroffiziersvorschule'-shoulderstrap that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel': I deem that this attractive and rarely found strap is accordingly priced!
