Single - I deem mid-war-period - so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the copper-brown-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Ofwbl. u. Mitglied des Krads.btle. der Pz.Div. u. Inf.Div.(mot)'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very scarcely seenn! - (I deem) early- ie. mid-war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the copper-brown- (ie. 'kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Kradschützenbtle. der Pz. Div. u. Inf. Divisione (mot.)' (or: sergeant first-class who served within within one of the motorised motorcycle-reconnaissance battalions) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. just moderately worn- and minimally moth-damaged), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,4 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early- ie. mid-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - shows the bluish-grey-toned (ie. sub-dued) NCO-braid attached and comes mounted onto its tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). Next to the NCO-braid does the strap show two (regularr-sized, matching and aluminium-based) pips period-attached. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'! - M40- ie. 43-pattern NCO-type 'Kradschützen'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Kradschützenbtle. der Pz. Div. u. Inf. Divisione (mot.)'!
