Superb - and truly rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as executed on a field-grey-coloured background as was intended for a: 'Brieftaubenmeister'
This is a superb - and actually rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as executed in golden-yellow-coloured thread on a field-grey-coloured background, as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Brieftaubenmeister' (or: pigeon-handler NCO ie. sergeant) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) condition. The patch is as stated neatly hand-embroidered in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as to be expected. The patch - which has a beige-coloured and linnen-based backing attached - shows an ink-stamped makers'-designation as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and truly rarely encountered WH trade- and/or special-career patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen'): one of the hardest to encounter examples of the extensive series!
