This is an attractive - and actually unusually encountered! - HJ ('Hitlerjugend'), typically zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based (ie. 'molded-styled') belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften der Hitlerjugend') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'RzM - M4/39'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. surely issued and/or just minimally worn- ie. used-) condition. The buckle retains very nice detail as to be expected but was clearly worn as such. The piece has a typical silverish-coloured- and somewhat 'matted' appearance and has never been cleaned nor polished (it has just acquired some tarnish ie. dirt over the years and shows some minimal wear-marks ie. 'scratches' caused by wear and/or handling or alike). It is as stated above showing the super-imposed makers'-designation: 'RzM - M4/39' on its back (as can be clearly seen in the pictures) and is thus a piece that was with certainty produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'F.W. Asmann & Söhne' as was based in town of Lüdenscheid. This buckle orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a neat 'variant'-pattern, youth-related belt-buckle which is actually not that commonly encountered in this zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based - ie. 'molded'-pattern!
