Stunning, bright-golden-coloured- and/or steel-based so-called: 'Wasserschützpolizei' belt-buckle being a maker- (ie. 'C.T. Dicke'-) marked- and: '1943'-dated example that comes mounted onto its 'typically-shaped' leather-based tab
This is a very attractive - and with certainty rarely seen! - example of a bright-golden-coloured- (ie. so-called: 'feuervergoldetes') and/or typical steel-based (ie. magnetic) so-called: 'Wasserschützpolizei' (ie. water-police) belt-buckle being a clearly maker- (ie. 'C.T. Dicke - Lüdenscheid'-) marked- and/or: '1943'-dated example that comes mounted onto its typically-shaped (natural-coloured and genuine leather-based) tab and that comes in a wonderful- (and - I deem – simply never worn- nor used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The buckle truly retains all of its fairly 'frosted'-styled, bright-golden-coloured finish without showing any defaults: it was simply never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal storage-age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows some obvious dust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The leather-based tab is naturally also still fully functional and souple: it shows a clearly present, oval-shaped: 'C.T. Dicke - Lüdenscheid' and/or: '1943'-stamp (as can be clearly seen in the pictures) and remains in an equally nicely preserved condition overall (it was most certainly never greased nor oiled). The buckle itself is also maker-marked and shows the makers-designation: 'C.T.D.' stamped into its back as to be expected. The piece was recently found at a private-household in the US and was never before part of a collection. Without any doubt a very attractive, 'C.T.D.'-marked, 'Wasserschützpolizei'-example that is priced according to its rarity and overall stunning and fully untouched condition!
