Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'- (ie. WWII-period) pocket-watch ('Dienstuhr') of the make: 'Zenith' having a white-coloured dial-plate and/or engraved back-plate that reads: 'D57103H'
This is a truly attractive - and/or fairly scarcely encountered! - example of a 'standard-issue'-pattern, 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'- (ie. WWII-period) pocket-watch (or: 'Dienstuhr') of the make: 'Zenith' having a white-coloured dial-plate and/or engraved back-plate that reads: 'D51703H' and comes in an overall nice- (albeit regrettably non-functional- ie. non-running), condition. These neat pocket-watches - having a standard 15- (or 17) -jewel movement - were distributed at a limited scale to the various soldiers (ie. NCO and/or officers!) of the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and were properly entered in both: 'Wehrpass' and/or 'Soldbuch'. They had to be engraved with a 'DH' numbering (which abbreviation stands for: 'Deutsches Heer'). As stated above, has the piece on offer here a fully undamaged white-coloured dial(plate) having a subsidiary 'seconds'-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The piece has a very attractive (and virtually undamaged) casing (which is executed in shiny, nickle-silver-based metal): the watch just shows some minimal wear and/or age (and comes as stated above in a non-running-condition). I am convinced that it can be serviced and made functional if wished so. Still a very nice and truly scarcely seen piece: I deem that I have priced this attractive equiment-piece accordingly!
