Superb, 2-pieced WH (Heeres o. KM) medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') showing resp. a: 'KvK II. Kl. mit Schwertern' and a: 'WH DA für 4 Jahre treue Dienste' (and that shows a neat period makers-etiket on its back!)

The very attractive WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) two-pieced - and non-detachable - medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') respectively shows a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) and a: 'WH Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: WH loyal-service medal for four years of loyal service) that comes with a detailed, silver-coloured eagle-device firmly attached, both awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used- and/or worn-), condition. Both awards are very nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons. The 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' is a truly attractive (and typical 'Buntmetall'-based) example having great pronounced detail: truly most of its golden-bronze-toned finish is still perfectly preserved whereas the medal has an attractive tarnish ie. age-patina without showing any defaults. The WH loyal-service medal is truly a very nicely preserved example that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: it comes in a minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and comes mounted onto its period ribbons that shows a neat eagle-device attached. The entire 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured wool as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a neat linnen-based makers'-etiket period-attached (that reads: 'Brockmann - Westermann - Dresden - a.d. Schlosstr. 15 – Ruf 13722' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades. Simply a very attractive - and truly decorative! - two-pieced, WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) related medal-bar that is most certainly accordingly priced!
