Superb - and truly rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as executed on a darker-green-coloured background, as was intended for a: 'geprüfter Brieftaubenmeister'
This is a superb - and actually rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) neatly hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was executed in golden-yellow-coloured (and linnen-based) thread onto a darker-green-coloured background and that was specifically intended for usage by an army: 'geprüfter Brieftaubenmeister' (or: pigeon-handler NCO ie. sergeant having at least one-years experience in this function) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The patch is as stated neatly hand-embroidered in golden-yellow-coloured linnen onto a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows an (additionally-added) silver-toned- and braid-based 'rim' attached as to be expected. The patch - which has an unusually seen addtional, black-coloured and linnen-based 'backing' attached - is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - WH trade- and/or special-career patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen'): one of the more difficult to encounter examples of the series and just for the first time offered by me!
