Single, NCO-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms) as was used by an NCO holding the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' ie.: 'Wa-SS-Hauptscharführer' (or: sergeant first-class)
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single - example of an NCO-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by a senior-NCO holding the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' ie.: 'Waffen-SS-Hauptscharführer' (or: sergeant first-class) being a (typical) printed example that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or with certainty carefully tunic-removed-), condition. This piece - which is of the 'printed pattern' as executed in black on a bright-green-coloured and/or silk-like linnen- (ie. 'Kunstseide'-) based background - shows four square-sized bars, signifying that this patch was intended for usage by an NCO with the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' ie.: 'Waffen-SS-Hauptscharführer' (ie. sergeant first-class). The piece is just a tiny bit stained (and nicely pre-folded!) caused by moderate wear and storage but is nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not that often encountered! - WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar!
