Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann der Reserve u. Mitglied der LW-Nachrichten-Truppen'
This is an attractive - fully matching and I deem clearly used ie. once tunic-attached! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as (dual)piped in the light-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour and having the typical bluish-coloured secondary branchcolour ie. 'underlay' as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann der Reserve u. Mitglied der Luftwaffe-Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: officer ie. reserve-captain who served within an airforce signals-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat boards - which are executed in the typical 'smooth'-like- and/or light-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured wool (aka 'moleskin'-wool) have the secondary, bluish-toned underlays as to be expected and measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and have the (bright)silver-coloured- ie. non-sub-dued 'upperdecks'. The boards never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended (and used as!) a pair of boards of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show four (golden-toned, identical and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached (which devices are very detailed and/or pronounced as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly issued and/or moderately worn ie. once-mounted onto a tunic (and does show some age, wear and/or staining). This particular WH (Luftwaffe) shoulderboard-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, reserve-officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann der Reserve u. Mitglied der Luftwaffe-Nachrichten-Truppen' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
