This is an attractive - and actually truly rarely found! - darker-green coloured- and/or (typical) felt-woolen-based, officers'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was specifically intended for usage by officers serving within the: 'Sicherheits- u. Hilfsdienst'- (ie. 'SHD') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- nor tunic-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'), condition. The collar-tabs - which are nicely 'backed' with beige-yellow-coloured 'Buckram'-based material - show the (neatly detailed and I deem machine-embroidered!) 'SHD'-characters on a darker-green-coloured background: they are, moreover, 'piped' with a piece of (typical twisted, silver-toned ie. piped) braid (as can be noticed on the pictures). The pieces originated from an advanced cloth-insignia-collection that was compiled over a 40-year-period and that I acquired for the web-site. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair still shows its period-attached inventory-etiket on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). I am convinced that this is a neat SHD-related officers'-type collar-patch-pair of unmistaken scarcity!
