WH (Heeres) so-called trade- and/or special-career arm-patch as specifically intended for a: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or: farrier) being a neatly hand-embroidered 'variant' as executed on field-grey-coloured wool
This is an attractive example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for an army: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or farrier) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never worn- nor even tunic-attached-) condition. The neat patch is executed on a field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows a (detailed and/or neatly hand-embroidered) 'horse-shoe'-sign as executed in bright-yellow- ie. golden-yellow-coloured linnen. The neatly maker-marked patch (that shows a blue-inked albeit hard to decypher makers'-designation-stamp as can be noticed on the pictures) is nicely 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured linnen as more often encountered. The patch shows some minimal staining simply caused by decades of storage only. This particular example originated from a large cloth-/shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. Simply a very attractive WH (Heeres) trade-/specialist patch as was specifically intended for an army: 'Hufbeschlagmeister'!
