Attractive, WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (or: arm-chevron) as executed on typical field-grey-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a soldier with the (unusually encountered!) rank of: 'Stabsgefreiter'
This is an attractive - and just moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (ie.: arm-chevron) as was executed on a typical, field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as was intended for usage by a soldier with the - unusually encountered! - rank of: 'Stabsgefreiter' (ie. senior-private) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed and shows a detailed, machine-embroidered- (and white-coloured) 'star' whereunder a double-stripe of bluish-grey-coloured- (ie. 'sub-dued') and/or 'standard'-pattern NCO-braid can be observed. The patch was recently found at a private-household in Germany. The piece is void of an additional 'backing' as is more often observed (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Heeres-related rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive - and unsually found! - WH-rank-badge that is I deem accordingly priced!
