Attractive - and carefully cap-removed! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type cocarde (as executed in so-called: 'flat-wire'- ie. 'BeVo'-weave pattern) as was specifically intended for usage on the: WH 'Knautschmützen' ie. 'Alter-art'-visor-caps
This is an attractive - truly used and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type visor-cap-cocarde (as executed in so-called: 'flat-wire'- ie. 'BeVo'-weave pattern) as was specifically intended for usage on the: WH 'Knautschmützen' ie. 'Alter-art'-visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or carefully visor-cap-removed-), condition. The piece was clearly pre-folded and still shows some of the (machine)stitching-remains with which it was once cap-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - also known in German language as: 'Kokarde für Knautsch- oder Alter-Art-Schirmmütze' - is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave, 'flat-wire'-pattern as to be expected and shows some age ie. staining simply caused by fair wear and/or decades of storage and/or handling: it can, however, naturally easily serve to restore any 'Knautschmütze'. Simply a neat - and clearly used- and cap-removed! - example that is I deem accordingly priced!
