The very attractive silver-coloured- and/or typically 'twisted' WH (Heeres) 'Schützenschnur' (or: shooting- ie. marksmanship-lanyard) comes in an overall fine condition and shows no damage whatsoever: just some aging and/or slight staining is present and/or visible (as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on the attached (I deem aluminium- ie. so-called Cupal-) based- and/or nicely golden-bronze-toned, 'Heeres'-type shield ie. 'crest' (being of the second pattern- and/or being of the eleventh grade) is really pronounced and/or very detailed: it has a nice age-patina and has just acquired some tarnish over the years (it was, however, never cleaned nor polished and comes in a pristine condition as can be noticed on the pictures). The lanyard top has a field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'backing' attached as per regulation (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, is the back of the lanyard itself neatly 'backed' with beige-white-coloured linnen as is more often seen. The piece was (I deem) just moderately used- and/or worn and does show just minimal wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is of one of the highest (ie. 11th) class something that can be easily corroborated by the presence of two (golden-toned- and braid-based) 'acorns' in place. I deem that this rare and attractive piece is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
