Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of mid-war-period so-called: 'M41 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstraps that comes with its accompanying 'Übershube'-pair as intended for a: 'Soldat des Nachschub-Abteilungs XII'
The very attractive - fully 'text-book' and fully matching! - pair of typical 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps is piped in the light-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length each. The straps have the light-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured - and/or: desirable, 'silk-like'-type piping attached as is more often encountered with these early- (ie. mid-war-) period shoulderstrap-pairs and was as such intended for usage by transport-soldier (presumably a driver) who served within the: 'Nachschub-Abteilungs XII' (something that can naturally easily be deducted from the attached 'Übershube'-pair). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recenly acquired for the web-site - are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks': they were - I deem - just minimally used ie. worn and do show some truly minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and came with a (also matching) pair of neat (field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based) so-called: shoulderstrap-slip-ons (ie. 'Schulterstück-Übershuben') attached bearing both the (Roman-styled) unit-designation: 'XII' (as executed in equally light-blue-coloured, so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' done in wool as can be seen on the pictures). Both the shoulderstraps and/or: 'Übershuben' come in an overall very nice and/or fully undamaged condition (as can be seen on the pictures). These desirable 'M41- o. 43'-pattern, army-infantry-related EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'kornblumenblauer'-coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a very attractive - and fully matching! - Heeres EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Nachschub-Abteilungs XII' and that is I deem priced according to its scarcity and/or desirability!
