Attractive pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as (dual)piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann der Res. eines (Sturm)Art.-Rgts. o. Abts.'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) reserve-officers'-type shoulderboards as (dual)piped in the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and having the typical dove-grey-coloured secondary branchcolour ie. 'underlay' as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann der Reserve eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: reserve-captain who served within a (sturm)artillery-related, regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat boards - which are executed in the typical 'smooth'-like- and/or bright-red-coloured wool (aka 'moleskin'-wool) have the secondary, dove-grey-toned underlays as to be expected and measure approximately 10,8 cms. in length each and have the (bright)silver-coloured- ie. non-sub-dued 'upperdecks'. The boards come mounted onto their (smaller-shape) tongues attached and were (presumably) intended to be used as a pair of 'dress'- ie. 'Ausgeh'-type boards (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show four (golden-toned, identical and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached (which devices are very detailed and/or pronounced as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly issued and/or moderately worn ie. once-mounted onto a tunic. This particular WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, reserve-officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann der Reserve eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments o. Abteilungs' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
