Superb - and scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres, LW etc.) WWII-period wrist-watch (or: 'Dienstuhr') of the make: 'Helma' having an engraved number: 'D029070H' on its back (and that comes in a still functional ie. running condition)
This is a truly attractive - nicely preserved and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe etc.) WWII-period wrist-watch (or: 'Dienstuhr') of the make: 'Helma' (ie. 'Helma - Wassedicht') being an example that is having a black-coloured dial-plate and having an engraved (serial-)number - that reads: 'D029070H' - on its back and that comes mounted on its (presumably period but replaced) light-brown-coloured strap in place and that comes in an overall very nice- (and/or still fully functional ie. running-), condition. These WH-service-watches - having a 'standard' 15- (or 17-) jewel movement - were distributed at a fairly small scale to the various soldiers (ie. NCO and officers!) of the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and were properly entered in both 'Wehrpass' and/or 'Soldbuch'. They had to be engraved with a 'DH'-numbering on its back (as is this example). As stated above, has the piece on offer here a black-coloured (and/or fully undamaged) dial having a subsidiary 'seconds'-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The piece has a nice (albeit moderately used) chrome-steel-based casing (which is executed in nickle-silver-based metal): the entire piece just shows some moderate wear and/or age. As stated above, is the piece still functional and in running condition and comes mounted onto its (presumably period, natural-coloured and/or genuine-leather-based) armband. Simply a very nice and fairly scarcely encountered WH-time-piece: one of the most attractive such 'DH'-marked army-watches I had on offer for quite some time!
