Attractive - and truly used! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'tropical-issue' (ie. DAK or: 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) breasteagle, as executed in neat so-called: 'BeVo'-weave style that comes in a carefully tunic-removed, condition
This attractive - and truly used- and/or worn! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'tropical-issued' example is neatly golden-yellow-coloured (as to be expected) and was executed onto a tropical-pattern, brownish- (ie. typical tan-) coloured and/or: linnen-based background as to be expected. The piece comes - as stated above - in a carefully folded- and/or confectioned, condition: it was most certainly carefully tunic-removed and still shows its (machine)stitching-holes (as can be seen on the pictures). The breast-eagle is just a tiny bit stained caused by moderate wear and years of storage but has maintained very nice detail, overall. These original 'BeVo'-woven, naval examples are getting nowadays almost impossible to find something that merits its - I deem - justified asking-price. The piece can as such perfectly serve to restore any Naval tropical-tunic (or even shirt). These 'tropical-issue-' (ie. DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) 'Kriegsmarine'-type breasteagles can easily be graded 'scarce' and are nowadays not that often offered for sale: even more so when they come in such a neat once tunic-attached condition!
