Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) mid- ie. (later-) war-period (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'karmesin'-red-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalsstab'
The truly attractive - and actually very scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens' shoulderstraps have the field-grey-coloured- and/or: typical woolen-based 'upperdecks' as executed in typical field-grey-coloured wool. They show the desirable, bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour and were as such intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalstab' (or: simple soldier who served within an army veterinarian- or staff-unit ie. regiment) and come in an overall nice- (I deem only minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length and come naturally mounted on their original tongues: the straps show some moderate age, wear and/or staining and have lost some of their woolen-nap (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was with certainly always together and was worn as such as a pair. It should be noted that the bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesin-roter'-) coloured branchcolour ranks amongst the rarest branchcolours as used within the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. In any case a very attractive and/or mid- (ie. later-) war-period- and/or: 'Heeres'-related enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Soldat der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalstab': only the second such rare pair I ever had on offer!
