Four-pieced - and unusually found! - WH (Heeres) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') showing resp. the ribbons for an: 'EKII.Kl.', an: 'Ostvölker Tapferkeits-Med. mit S.', a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal and a: 'Deutsche Olympia-E.medaille 1936'
The attractive - truly unusually found and just moderately used- ie. worn - four-pieced, WH (Heeres) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') respectively depicts the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second-class), a: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 3. Klasse in Bronze mit Schwertern' (or: bronze-class, 'Ostvölker'-service-medal for shown bravery on the Eastern Front with swords), a: WH Czech occupation ie. 'Anschluss' medal: '1 October 1938' (as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, which started on 1 October 1938) and a: 'Deutsche Olympia-Erinnerungsmedaille 1936'. All four ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller) ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each as is more often encountered (the piece has thus a total length of approximately 6 cms.). The 'Spange' comes in an overall nice condition and is of course fully functional: it is neatly 'backed' with a piece of bluish-grey-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece retains its functional pin- ie. pin/catch-attachment. The - firmly-attached – sword-device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has been nicely preserved. This particular example was - I deem - only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive - and ith certainty scarcely seen! - 4-pieced, 'Ostvölker'-related 'Band-/Feldspange': great to decorate almost any Heeres- or 'Ostvölker'-tunic!
