Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for a junior-officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant eines Kavallerie o. Reiter-Regiments'

The attractive - and I deem simply never used- nor worn! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair on offer here is piped in the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant eines Kavallerie o. Reiter-Regiments' (or: junior-officer- ie. lieutnant who served within an army, cavalry-related unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The truly attractive shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs'-related officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the greysish-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat-sub-dued-) 'upperdecks' (making this a pair that was - I deem - intended for usage on a typical 'front-used'-tunic). The boards show the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical smooth-type wool as more often seen). The boards never has any tongues attached and were clearly intended for usage as a pair of 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 10,6 cms. in length each and never had any numerals ie. cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') nor pips attached denoting the junior-officers'-rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The pair shows some storage-age only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines Kavallerie o. Reiter-Regiments'!
