Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40- ie. M43'-pattern) shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs'
This is an attractive - and fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40- ie. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army-signals unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully 'cut-of-a-tunic'-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached - show the ('standard-issue'-pattern, silverish-grey-coloured ie. non-'sub-dued') NCO-braid attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the rank of: 'Unteroffizier' (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - that misses its tongues - was carefully 'cut-of-a-tunic' and was used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. It shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs' and that is most certainly accordingly priced!
