Neat - and fully matching! - WH (Heeres) - I deem - pre- (ie. early-) war-period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier einer Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Rgts.'
This is a neat - fully matching and actually in this particular branchcolour not that easily found! - pair of typical 'tailor-made', WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an NCO (ie. 'Unteroffizier' or: junior-sergeant) who served within a: 'Heeres Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiment' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat straps are just moderately used and/or worn and do show both some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are constructed from so-called: 'boiled wool' and that (I deem) originate from a private tailor-shop - show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached and measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each. The pieces show the 'standard'-pattern, silver-coloured, NCO-braid period-attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional (thin-shaped) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical (early- ie. pre-) war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1940/1941 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). The pair originated from a smaller cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Gebirgsjäger o. Jäger'-related NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap-pair that is with certainty accordingly priced!
