Neat - albeit regrettably single - Waffen-SS, NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the black-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an NCO (ie. 'SS-Unterscharführer') who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Pionier-Truppen'
The attractive - and fully textbook! - Waffen-SS NCO-type strap is (I deem) of the typical mid-war-period type (I deem that it can be dated around 1941/42) and has the 'standard'-pattern and/or: 'thinner-shaped' tongue in place and shows the neat black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour and/or 'silk-like'-type branchcolour ie. piping attached: the strap is truly fully 'text-book' in all facets and will be hard to be upgraded. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length as more often encountered - shows the (typical) 'Waffen-SS'-styled-, field-grey-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'underlay' (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or age. The strap shows the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. sub-dued-type) NCO-braid attached denoting that it was intended for usage by an NCO with the rank of: 'Unterscharfüher' (ie. junior-sergeant). It should be noted that these original, period Waffen-SS shoulderstraps can nowadays easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the less commonly encountered, black-coloured- ie. 'SS-Pioniere'-related branchcolour: too bad that it is only a single example!
