Attractive - moderately used albeit regrettably single! - so-called: 'M41- (ie. M43-) pattern', WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Unteroffzier eines Pionier-Abteilungs o. Rgts.'
The attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely found! - shoulderstrap is (I deem) of the early- (ie. mid-war-) period- (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-) pattern and does show some obvious age, wear and/or minimal staining. The strap has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show the neat black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour and desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstrap comes mounted onto its functional tongue attached and was with certainty a piece that was used onto a 'front-type'-tunic. The strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length and that shows the 'standard-issue'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid attached - was used by an: 'Unteroffizier' (ie. junior-sergeant) who was attached to a specific: 'Pioniere-Abteilung o. Regiment' (being a specific army engineers-unit). Simply, a neat early- (ie. mid-) war-period, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Unteroffzier eines Pionier-Abteilungs o. Regiments' and that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
