Attractive - moderately used albeit regrettably single! - so-called: 'M41- (ie. M43-) pattern', WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs o. Rgts.'
The attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely found! - shoulderstrap is (I deem) of the early- (ie. mid-war-) period- (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-) pattern and does show some obvious age, wear and/or minimal staining. The strap has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour and desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstrap comes mounted onto its functional tongue attached and was with certainty a piece that was used onto a 'front-type'-tunic. The strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length - was used by a: 'Soldat' (ie. simple soldier or medical orderly) who was attached to a specific: 'Sanitäts-Abteilung' (being a specific army medical-unit). Simply, a neat early- (ie. mid-) war-period, EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs o. Regiments' and that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
