Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and worn by! - an: 'Feldwebel des (Nebel)Werfer-Rgts. 52'
This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as piped in the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Feldwebel des Nebelwerfer-Regiments 52' (or: sergeant who served within the army smoke-troops regiment, numbered '52') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' are 'textbook' in all facets. They show the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured and have the desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length each come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues attached and show the 'standard'-type, silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') NCO-braid and a pair of (matching, regular-sized and/or zinc-based) pips attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). Next to this do they show two (larger-sized, fully matching and aluminium-based) pairs of '5'- and/or '2'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') attached. The straps show - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type 'Nebelwerfer'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
