Attractive, WH (Heeres) 'tropical-issue' (ie. DAK or: 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) breasteagle as executed in neat so-called: 'BeVo'-weave style that comes in a clearly used- (ie. non-trimmed- but nicely pre-confectioned-), condition
This attractive - and I deem somewhat later-war-period! - example is neatly greyish- ie. light-blue-coloured (as to be expected) and was executed on a tropical-pattern, brownish- (ie. typical tan-) coloured and/or: linnen-based background as to be expected. The piece comes - as stated above - in a nice albeit clearly pre-folded- (but non-trimmed!) condition (it was carefully confectioned- and/or folded into a trapzoid-shaped format!) and was (I deem) carefully tunic-removed as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit stained (ie. faded) caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear but has maintained very nice detail overall. These original 'BeVo'-woven examples are getting nowadays almost impossible to find something that merits its I deem justified asking-price. The piece was with certainty folded- and/or tunic-removed) and can as such perfectly serve to restore any tropical-tunic (or even shirt). These 'tropical-issue-' (ie. DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) breasteagles can easily be graded 'scarce' and are nowadays not that often offered for sale!
