Interesting - and fully complete! - pair of 'standard-issued'-pattern WH-service-glasses (ie. 'Dienstbrille') as issued to the: 'Schütze Georg Eisner' serving within the: '2.Ers.Kp.Inf.-Rgt. 116' and that comes stored in its period-container
The neat pair was with certainty used as such and comes in a moderately worn- ie. clearly used condition: the pair - as well as the greyish-blue-coloured container that shows the text: 'Dienstbrille' on its top - shows some regular usage-marks (ie. minimal paint-loss) but is of course still fully functional (as can be seen on the pictures). The set came complete with its chromed-metal-rimmed pair of 'standard-pattern' service-glasses. The paper-based 'inlay' is naturally also present and shows a (clearly) filled-in name that reads: 'Schütze Georg Eisner' serving within the: '2.Ers.Kp.Inf.-Rgt. 116' (or alike) and is dated: 14-9-1939 (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and/or fully complete! - example that with certainty belonged to a WH-infantry-soldier ie. 'Schütze': great to add to any equipment- or mannequin-set-up!
