Attractive - and unusually found! - early-period, N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that is showing the text: 'Saarkundgebung - 1933 - Niederwald'
This is an attractive - and typically 'hollow'-styled and with certainty quite scarcely found! - early-period, so-called: N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') being a typical non-maker-marked- and/or golden-bronze toned- (ie. I deem copper-toned- ie. 'Eisenblech'-based) example showing the text: 'Saarkundgebung - 1933 - Niederwald' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued- ie. I deem just moderately worn-), condition. The piece is executed in typical, golden-bronze-coloured metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, minimally darkened- ie. tarnished-, age-patina and holds most of its period-apllied finish). The badge shows a hand with two upright placed fingers, statue and swastika-device coupled the above mentioned text (as can be seen on the pictures). The medium-sized piece (sized: 4,3 x 3,4 cms.) comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that all 'N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and truly unusally found! - N.S.D.A.P.-related, so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting price!
