Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40-/M43'-pattern-) (I deem) 'summer-type'-shoulderstrap (being of the model as was specifically intended for usage on the 'Windjacke') as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger-Regiments'
This is a neat - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M40-/M43'-pattern (I deem) 'summer-type' NCO-shoulderstrap (being of the model as was specifically intended for the 'Gebirgsjäger-Windjacke') as was piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' (or: NCO and/or sergeant who served within an army mountain-troops regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or 'clearly cut-of a tunic'-), condition. The longer-sized shoulderstrap - which is approximately 13,5 cms. sized in length as to be expected - has the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdeck' (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the desirable 'silk-like'-type piping and has the standard-issued, silver-toned NCO-braid an a single (zinc-based) pip attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' ie. sergeant (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which comes without a tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'Gebirgsjäger'-raelated, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce' even more so when they are specifically produced for usage onto the specific 'Gebirgsjäger'-type, protective '3/4-model' jacket ie. rain-coat (or: 'Gebirgsjäger-Windjacke'). This strap originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early- (ie mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type 'Windjacke'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger-Regiments'!
