Commemorative, D.A.F.- ie. N.S.B.O.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate a gathering simply named: 'Aufmarsch N.S.B.O.-D.A.F. - N.S. Hago - Altenburg - Juli 1934'
This is an attractive - early-period- and actually unusually seen! - silver-toned, so-called: D.A.F./N.S.B.O.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'- ie. 'Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation') related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) related event simply named the: 'Aufmarsch N.S.B.O.-D.A.F. - N.S. Hago - Altenburg - Juli 1934' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in silver-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based- ie. pot-metal - shows the DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) device (ie. hammer and cog-wheel) coupled with an illustration of various town-shields and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The shield-shaped and medium-sized badge (having an approximate height of 4,7 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, DAF/NSBO-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
