Attractive, 4-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') showing two WH (Heeres or KM) so-called: 'DA für 4 u. 12 Jahre treue Dienste', an: Austrian 'Anschluss'-medal and a (scarce!): 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal)
This is a truly attractive - and is this combination most certainly scarcely seen albeit moderately used- and/or worn - example of a (neatly detachable!) four-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') that is respectively showing a: WH (Heeres or Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnung für 12 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: loyal-service medal for twelve years of loyal service), a: WH (Heeres or Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: or loyal-service medal for 4 years of loyal service), a: WH Austrian-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. März 1938' (that was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Austria that started on: '1. März 1938') and a scarcely seen: 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) all four awards coming in an overall nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All four awards are truly nicely preserved examples without showing any defaults that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons. Both 'Dienstauszeichnungen für 12 u. 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' are both very nicely preserved examples retaining their golden- and/or silver-toned finish and do show their (period-attached) eagle-devices (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes period-mounted as a so-called: detachable 'Ordenspange' that retains a (still functional) pin-ie. catch set-up and that is nicely 'backed' with a piece of pinkish-beige-coloured linnen. Simply an attractive and desirable 'Ordenspange' showing an unusual combination and that can be mounted onto almost any TR-period-tunic!
