This is an attractive - and fully matching! - medal-set: 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' (or: Eastern Front medal) comprising of a neatly maker- (ie. '15'-) marked specimen that comes packed in its original pouch of issue and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem issued- but hardly ie. simply never worn-), condition. The medal came together with its original, non-confectioned, pre-folded (and approx. 19 cms. long-sized-) ribbon and came packed in its neat ('Zellstoff'-based) reddish-brown-coloured pouch (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal - which is a nicely preserved zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen - was I deem issued but simply hardly used. The medal has a quite 'matted' (ie. typical greyish-blue) coloured age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The pouch comes as stated above in an overall nicely preserved condition: it shows the printed makers'-designation of the company: 'Friedrich Orth - Wien 56' (as is printed on its back as stated above). Simply an attractive - and fully matching! - 'Ost'-medal-set that is I deem accordingly priced!
