The compass - which is I deem only moderately used - shows a black-coloured 'inner-section' and is non-maker-marked on its top: it does show, however, an impressed makers'-designation (and '2'-numeral) on its bottom (something that is more often seen). The compass - which is executed in black-coloured so-called: 'Bakelite' and that comes as issued and/or used - is of course still fully functional and is truly void of any damage (as can be seen on the pictures). It is furthermore just a bit dirty ie. stained caused by fair usage and/or storage for decades. As stated above, does the compass show a makers'-designation-mark (small circle with a code) on its bottom. Simply a neat example of a 'standard-issued'-pattern, WH 'Marschkompass' that will be hard to be upgraded!
