Attractive, TR-period, commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') showing a portrait of AH and bearing the text: 'Der einer und Führer aller Deutschen - Das Grossdeutsche Reich ist erstanden - 13.-3 - 29.-9-1938'
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often- ie. most certainly scarcely encountered! - silver-toned- (and I deem genuine silver-based!) so-called: commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') showing a detailed portrait of Adolf Hitler on its front and bearing the text: 'Der einer und Führer aller Deutschen' and on its back the text: 'Das Grossdeutsche Reich ist erstanden - 13.-3-1938 – 29.-9-1938' and that comes in an overall wonderful and truly nicely preserved, condition. The neat - medium-sized- and/or regular-weight-piece having an approximate diameter of 3,7 cms. - has truly pronounced detail and was I deem never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a neat silver-toned age-patina (but also shows some minimal tarnish - see pictures). The piece shows a silver-content-mark ('935') and shows a clear makers'-designation on the rim (that reads: 'Hauptmünzamt Wien'). These neat - semi-official - presentation-pieces were I deem used as some sort of awards as (presumably) handed-out at party-related gatherings or alike. The piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades (see pictures). Simply a very attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that might merit some further investigative work!
