Superb - rarely encountered and just moderately used! - so-called: 'Allgemeine-SS'-related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being a printed specimen showing a separately-applied (and neatly 'BeVo'-woven!) swastika (ie. roundel) attached
This is a very attractive - actually rarely encountered and I deem just moderately worn- ie. used! - example of an (I deem) 'pre-war'-period, so-called: 'Allgemeine-SS'-related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being a (partly)printed specimen showing a separately-applied swastika (ie. roundel) attached and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. These linnen-based armbands were 'standard-issue' for usage by the various Allgemeine-SS members and/or officials (and were intended to be worn on the various black-coloured attire) and were worn on the left upper-arm. This example - that was 'loosened' and that is having a total size of 37,5 cms. and that is approximately 10,5 cms. wide as more often encountered - is neatly constructed from bright-red-coloured linnen and shows a neat (linnen-based- and typically interwoven!) 'roundel' that shows a black-coloured swastika in place, attached. This swastika-patch is neatly executed in so-called: BeVo-weave-pattern whereas both black-coloured borders are executed from typical rib-cord linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). Of interest is, moreover, the fact that these borders were attached BEFORE the roundel was attached. This example is truly nicely made and does just show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate usage (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely found! - 'Allgemeine-SS'-related item that is with certainty accordingly priced!
