This is an attractive, WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' being a neat (albeit minimally tarnished) example that comes mounted onto its period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or recently found. This medal (ie. also known as: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is a truly attractive and/or detailed- (albeit issued- but I deem hardly worn-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a nicely preserved, golden-bronze-toned finish showing some minimal tarnish: it has, however, never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came mounted onto its neatly confectioned- (ie. pre-folded-) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). Simply an attractive and complete Czech 'Anschluss'-medal that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
