Steel-based- and neatly field-grey-coloured, so-called: 'Der Stahlhelm' - Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)', enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type belt-buckle being a non-maker-marked example that comes in a moderately worn- and/or used, condition
The truly attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mitglieder der Stahlhelm' - Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)' truly retains most of its typical, somewhat 'glossy', greenish- (ie. field-grey-) coloured finish and comes in a just moderately used- and/or worn, condition: it does show some age ie. (rust)staining simply caused by moderate usage and decades of storage and/or handling over the years but was never cleaned nor polished (most of its period-colour has been nicely preserved as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive buckle - which I deem can be dated around the thirthies - is totally void of a makers'-designation (nor 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-marking) something that is common with these type of veteran-organisation-type belt-buckles (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which truly retains pronounced detail - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and only moderately worn - EM/NCO-pattern, 'Der Stahlhelm' - Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)' belt-buckle that is accordingly priced!
