Attractive, TR-period, commemorative day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') depicting the famous 'Luftschiff' (ie. air-ship or: 'Zeppelin') named: 'Hindenburg' and showing the text: 'Hindenburg D-L.Z.129'
This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - (I deem) fairly early-period TR-period, commemorative day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') depicting the famous 'Luftschiff' (ie. air-ship or: 'Zeppelin') named: 'Hindenburg' and showing the text: 'Hindenburg D-L.Z.129' being a non-maker-marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical, bright-silver-toned metal (I deem so-called: zinc- ie. pot-metal) - shows extraordinary detail. The piece was simply never cleaned nor polished and is just minimally tarnished by age (as can be noticed on the pictures). The smaller-sized piece (which is as stated above non-maker-marked) has a total length of only 4,1 cms. and depicts the 'Luftschiff' (ie. air-ship or: 'Zeppelin') named: 'Hindenburg' (showing two swastika-signs on its tail!) and comes mounted onto its (functional) and never altered pin-/catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nice - and most certainly not that often encountered! - commemorative 'tinnie'. I deem that I have priced this attractive example according to its desirability and/or nicely preserved condition!
