Attractive, WH (Heeres) 'tropical-issue' (ie. DAK or: 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) side-cap eagle as executed in neat so-called: 'BeVo'-weave style that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition
This attractive example is neatly light-blue-coloured (as to be expected) and was executed on a tropical-pattern, brownish- (ie. typical tan-) coloured and/or: linnen-based background as to be expected. The piece comes - as stated above - in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or never confectioned condition: it is just folded in a trapezoid-manner. The side-cap eagle (ie. 'Tropen-Mützenadler für Schiffchenmützen- o. Einheitsfeldmützen') is just a tiny bit stained ie. wrinkled caused by years of storage but has maintained nice detail overall. The piece can as such perfectly serve to restore any tropical 'Schiffchen' (or even: 'Einheitsfeldmütze'). These 'tropical-issue-' (ie. DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'-related-) cap-eagles can noways easily be graded 'scarce' and come actually not that often offered for sale!
