Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-red-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann des Artillerie Regiments 22'
The attractive - and truly used and/or worn! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is piped in the typical bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann des Artillerie Regiments 22' (ie. captain who served within the artillery-related regiment, numbered: '22'). The attractive pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age, wear and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (somewhat tarnished golden-toned, zinc-based and/or smaller-sized) double '2'-numerals ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') and four (fully identical, smaller-sized and/or bright-golden-toned) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Hauptmann des Artillerie Regiments 22'. The boards come mounted onto their (typically smaller-sized) tongues attached and were clearly used as such (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair originated from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann des Artillerie Regiments 22'!
