This is a very attractive - and actually not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Adler für Heeres Offiziers-Schirmmütze') being a neatly hand-embroidered example of the: 'Extra Qualität' that comes mounted onto a typical darker-green-coloured- and/or smooth-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- ie. carefully cap-removed-), condition. This - with certainty 'high-quality'-produced example - is executed in multi-toned, silverish 'braid' on a 'smooth'-type, woolen- and/or darker-green-coloured background and has an approximate 'wingspan' of 7,4 cms.: it is void of any backing and does show some minimal fraying on its sides (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that easily found! - piece of Heeres-related officers'-visor-cap-insignia that would nicely fit to restore any officers'-type visor-cap!
