Superb, 'Post-Schutz' arm-badge (ie. arm-eagle) being a piece as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern - and showing a seldomly seen orange-coloured 'rim'! - and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition
The attractive arm-badge - which is executed in light-grey-coloured linnen on a greyish-coloured background and that is showing a bright-orange-coloured (and neatly interwoven!) 'rim' (ie. 'border') - is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave-pattern and was simply never used nor tunic-attached: it was never trimmed- (nor pre-folded) and comes 'as straightly cut-off the role'. The 'Post-Schutz'-organisation (which can literally be translated as 'postal security-service') is one of the more obscure, smaller-sized TR-era organisations that fell under the jurisdiction of the SS and about which little is known to date: its 'political'- (ie. police-related-) nature is also underlined by the left-facing eagle. I have seen these pieces also without this bright-orange-coloured (interwoven) 'rim' (ie. 'border'), something that can be looked-up in the archive-section of my web-site: this example does, however, show this border (something that might deal with the function ie. rank of the official). Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its backing only simply caused by having glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that these attractive 'Post-Schutz'-arm-eagles can easily be graded 'fairly rare' and come not that often for sale!
