The neat - clearly used- and/or worn and I deem fairly early- (ie. eventually pre-war-) period - bronze-class (and serial-numbered!) SA-sports'-badge (ie. 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze') is as stated nicely maker-marked on its back with the makers'-designation: 'Fechler - Bernsbach i. Sa.' and that also bears the usually encountered inscription: 'Eigentum d. S.A. Sportabz. Hauptstelle' (as is visible on the back of the sword as always). The badge - which comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and totally unaltered pin- and catch-(set-up) - shows moderate wear and/or age: it has lost a fair bit of its bronze-toned finish but was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that shows the stamped unique bearers'-numeral: '915508' has a somewhat darkened bronze-toned finish and is just a tiny bit stained ie. dirty simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. Nevertheless, a fairly early- (ie. eventually pre-war-) period, bronze-class SA-sports'-badge that is I deem priced according to its clearly used albeit fully untouched, condition!
