Superb - and nowadays rarely encountered! - 'Waffen-SS' visor-cap eagle-device (ie. 'Adler für Schirmmütze') being a detailed- and/or maker- (ie. 'RzM M1/167'-) marked example as was executed in silver-coloured zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink')
This is a very attractive - and nowadays rarely encountered! - 'Waffen-SS' visor-cap eagle-device (ie. 'Adler für Schirmmütze') being a detailed- and/or clearly maker- (ie. 'RzM M1/167' thus by the maker: 'Augustin Hicke'-) marked example as was executed in silver-coloured, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or worn- and regrettably incomplete), condition. This example is naturally a piece of unquestionable originality. The detailed - and pronounced! - eagle-device was most certainly once worn and/or cap-attached - is only moderately used and has an almost fully preserved silver-coloured surface that still shows excellent detail: it just shows some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes mounted onto one of its period prongs (the other one is missing and has regrettably been 'broken-off' as more often). Still a very attractive - and with certainty nowadays rarely encountered! - piece of genuine SS cap-insignia that is priced according to its rarity and/or desirability!
